The Babies

Gordo's birthday cake was a big hit yesterday as both the celebrant and his only guest, Lizzie, enjoyed the creamy vanilla-flavored cake, frosting and all. We weren't able to buy ice cream as I came home straight from work, but this was not a problem for our little babies.

They are now fast becoming friends, although they still need to be separated as Gordo has been attempting to get the new pup pregnant even while Lizzie has not had her period yet. The vet, who came to the house early yesterday to give Gordo his rabies shot, mentioned that Lizzie should be ready by her 7th month.

Their picture at the header above is one of their funnier photos, with Gordo trying to get his way with Lizzie while the puppy postures playfully, in an attempt to get the bigger dog to catch her.
